Passports and Visas
Attending the SNIP 15th Scientific Conference in Wuhan, China, will require
special planning to obtain both a valid passport from your country of
origin and and a valid Visa issued by a Chinese embassy.
Please prepare in advance - obtain your travel documentation early!

Obtaining a Tourist Visa. You must obtain a visa to visit China. This can be done in two ways:
1. Download application from the China Embassy website and HAND CARRY TO EMBASSY OR CONSULATE. APPLICATION BY MAIL IS NOT ACCEPTED.

Don’t forget, you will need the letter below from Dr. Dunjin Zhou
To assist with documentation for obtaining a Visa, you may download the attached invitation letter from the Chinese International Organizing Committee. Enter the date and your name/address where indicated before printing. This letter will detail the purpose of the meeting in China, the dates and location, and provide a personalized invitation.
