Responsibilities:
The Department of Biology at Seton Hall University invites applications
for a term-contract position at the Assistant Professor level to
begin immediately. Contract will be renewed annually for up to a
maximum of 5 years. Responsibilities will include a combination
of teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in addition
to administrative responsibilities.
The successful candidate will also be expected to develop an independent
research program. Successful candidates will be encouraged to compete
for the tenure-track position should it be available.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in molecular biology or equivalent
fields. Post-doctoral experience is required, and research in bioinformatics
is preferred.
